Annapurna Circuit- Day 2

Nadi Bazar to Tal

Tal Guesthouse

Nepal is filled with waterfalls. I wanted to stop and stare at each one.

The villages run pipes from a waterfall higher than the village to have “running” water in the village. Sometimes it goes to a communal tap for the village and sometimes its just the end of the pipe.  Many kitchens at our guesthouses have large tanks filled and others had to fill bucket by bucket. We also had running water in multiple locations in some of the guesthouses; I assume it was still gravity pushing the water through but there could have been pumps in the larger villages.

On the overhang of one of the cliffs, we saw honeycomb. The local honey is very good and tasty in our afternoon tea. I would like to know if the bee population has been impacted here like it has in the US and Europe.

We also saw our first goat herd being driven along the road. I think I have 50 photos of goats; the baby goats were just so cute.
