Tal to Chame
Our morning began with a beautiful walk by the river and close to the gorge wall. It was very peaceful.
Our guides taking a break and feeding the chickens.
Our hike after lunch brought us to pine trees. We came to a waterfall that felt like a magical place. The sun was shinning and all the plants shimmered. Made me think of fairies and of the waterfall paintings in Chinese restaurants.
yoga poses while we take a hiking break.
Buddhist Stupa at the entrance to Chame
and inside a large beautiful prayer wheel. In the morning, I walked (3x around is normal) with a few ofthe villages that had stopped in for morning prayer.
A morning Buddhist puja at our guesthouse. A puja is an expression of worship; I’ll add a post with photos of the various Hindu and Buddhist pujas that I saw.
