Appreciation and Moldova Classrooms

On November 10th,  I was invited to sit in on one of my co-worker’s classes along with a few other teachers. She teaches 4th grade and was going over the circulatory system. At the start of the lesson, each student offered a flower to the student to their right and said something kind about the student. At the end of the class, students were given little hearts to write kind words about the teachers in the room. I received a few and was overjoyed. It was another reminder that every day I need to acknowledge and appreciate those around me; you never know when someone needs the extra little love or how acknowledging something that is done routinely can make it a little easier the next time.
