Host family and neighbors collected Alfalfa the first week of May; it is used to feed the cows. (probably the goats too). As I was off for my morning run, I caught my Host father driving his motobloc filled with Alfalfa back to the house from the fields.
Spring Green is here; so much new growth and bright sunshine makes me want to take even more photos. I’ve been doing more walks around the village as well as continuing my runs by the river and through the woods. Many people in the village have bee hives and you can hear the bees humming now as the plants flower. The cottonwoods trees sent out their white clouds of seeds and the woods looked like there was a fresh coating of snow on the ground. Along with the plants, animals are enjoying the fresh air and new babies are being born… rabbits, geese and goats.
